“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go…”
― Dr. Seuss, Oh, The Places You’ll Go!
In October 2012 I quit my job at J.P. Morgan and hopped on a plane to India with no return ticket and no idea what lay ahead. Adventure, strange and wonderful people, and life lessons awaited me around the world. Meditating with monks in the middle of the Thai forest, diving with whale sharks in the middle of the ocean, riding and crashing a motorbike across Vietnam. Shouts of “Salud!” over incredible Argentine parillas, trekking amongst the majestic Nepalese Himalayans, World Cup madness in futbol-crazed Colombia, and countless other experiences have shaped me into the person I am today.
I am a yoga teacher (currently at Smriti Yoga with a yoga-based blog at Madwa Yoga), thai masseuse, scuba divemaster, and drummer who loves tuning into good vibrations, a little mischief, and of course, good food and beer.
These are some of my stories.
